James MacKenzie

James MacKenzie joined the Pacific Brands Board in May 2008 and was appointed as Chairman in November 2008.

James led the transformation of the Victorian Government's Personal Injury Schemes as Chairman of the TAC and Victorian WorkCover Authority from 2000-2007. He remains on both Boards of Management.

James is also Chairman of Mirvac, Chairman of Donaldson Coal Holdings Limited, and a Director of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited.

James has previously held senior executive positions with ANZ Banking Group, Norwich Union and Standard Chartered Bank, and was Chief Executive Officer of the TAC from 1994-1997.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, James was a Partner in both the Melbourne and Hong Kong offices of an international accounting firm now part of Deloitte.

In 2003 James was awarded the Centenary Medal for services to public administration.
